Al Foah Honors its Staff with Yearly Excellence Awards

During a special ceremony held at the Great Hall of the UAE University's Crescent Building, Al Ain, Al Foah Company honored its staff who won Al Foah Excellence Awards. The ceremony was held in the presence of H.E. Eng. Dhafer Ayed Al Ahbabi, Chairman of Al Foah; H.E. Musallam Obaid Al Khales Al Ameri, CEO of Al Foah; H.E. Mohammed Ghanim Al Qesaili Al Mansouri, Deputy CEO of Al Foah, as well as directors, division heads, and employees.

During the welcome speech delivered by H.E. Eng. Dhafer Ayed Al Ahbabi, Chairman of Al Foah, he commended the efforts made by the employees to reinforce the Company’s standing, objectives, and vision. He highlighted the importance of recognizing employee excellence: “This annual ceremony is held to honor outstanding staff. The recognition ceremony held recently was very strategic, as it motivates the staff to be dedicated and devoted to attaining objectives. The promotion and honoring of our staff has become a point of pride for Al Foah Company. Our success would not be possible without the cooperation and efforts of all.”

As for the Al Foah Excellence Awards, Al Ahbabi emphasized, “We believe that our skilled staff is the key factor in Al Foah ’s excellence, as well as the promotion of the dates industry in the UAE. At Al Foah, we secure an active, competitive atmosphere that encourages staff to play a role in performance improvement and the development of the UAE.”

H.E. Musallam Obaid Al Khales Al Ameri, CEO of Al Foah, stated, “In 2005, Al Foah started to become a leading producer of premium UAE dates, renowned all over the world. This success is attributable to the efforts made by the staff. Our staff has been so keen to make Al Foah a leading company worldwide by producing and processing dates according to the latest world specifications and standards." H.E. further added that: “The staff is honored in recognition of their efforts, patience, and dedication throughout the entire year. Thanks to them, the Company positively achieved its objectives and ambitions to establish constant and strong occupational rules, improve performance, and achieve performance excellence. ”

As for award categories, H.E. Mohammed Ghanim Al Qesaili Al Mansouri, Deputy CEO of Al Foah Company, said that the Al Foah Excellence Awards included numerous categories such as Excellent Leader , Excellent Administrative Employee , Excellent Technician, Excellent Driver, Excellent Operator, Excellent Store Attendant, Promising Employee, Employee with Initiatives, Ambitious Employee, and Excellent Work Team. H.E. also highlighted the honoring of the following categories: Best Sales Representative, Best Seller at Company Exhibitions, Best Factory Worker, Best Farmer, Best Controller, and Best Assistant, in addition to veteran employees who contributed to the development of the Company and provided services during the last years under the dedicated employee category.

Al Foah was established in 2005 to organize and develop the production of dates in the UAE. Al Foah is a government company affiliated to the General Holding Corporation SENAAT, which is fully owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi . It is the largest global company working in the dates industry, with a production capacity of over 120,000 tons a year. Its products are exported to more than 48 countries all over the world.

The Company takes over dates from farmers at its dates receiving centers distributed all over the Emirates. At these centers, the dates are packed, distributed, and marketed locally and internationally.
