Al Foah Awarded the Arab Quality Award in the Gold Category for Food Industries

The Minister of Economy honors Al Foah during his visit to the company headquarters. Al Foah was awarded the Arab Quality Award in the Gold category for food industries. The Minister of Economy, His Excellency Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, visited Al Foah this Wednesday morning on the 4th of this month, at the company headquarters at Emirates Dates Factory in Al Saad, Al Ain. The purpose of the visit was to observe the most important developments at Al Foah, the largest producer of dates worldwide, in regards to the production of dates, and also to honor Al Foah for winning the "second place in the Arab world" in the Arab Quality Award, Gold category.

H.E. Al Mansouri was accompanied by H.E. Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary, Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade Affairs and H.E. Abdullah Sultan Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Industry. Also accompanying Mansouri on his visit were Dr. Hilal Hamid Saed Al Kaabi, Executive Director of the Emirates Institute of Metrology of Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council; Saif Al Bakry, head of the evaluation team; Eng. Osama Melhem, an evaluation team member of Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council; the members of Al Foah Board of Directors; along with representatives of Agthia, one of the General Holding Corporation's (SENAAT) subsidiaries, and a number of managers and department heads.
