Al Foah Launches Blood Donation Campaign Among Staff Members

Al Foah Company has launched a blood donation campaign among its staff members in cooperation with Tawam Hospital’s regional blood bank. The event, which was held on Sunday, March 20 in support of the ongoing national blood donation campaign, is part of Al Foah’s highly active corporate social responsibility (CSR) role.

“The campaign , which was held at the company’s head quarters at Emirates Dates Factory in Al Saad, Al Ain, is part of Al Foah’s CSR strategy, and it highlights the company’s role in serving the local community by providing various kinds of humanitarian support, raising public awareness, and encouraging a culture of health and wellbeing among staff and community members, ” said His Excellency Eng. Dhafer Ayed Al Ahbabi, Chairman of Al Foah Company. He added, “People get many benefits for donating blood, in addition to providing much-needed blood supplies to patients suffering from thalassemia and other chronic diseases, not to mention victims of accidents and patients undergoing surgical operations. ”

H .E. Musallam Obaid Al Khales Al Ameri, CEO of Al Foah, cited the importance of such humane initiatives for their effectiveness in upholding human values, cementing social solidarity among members of the community, and fostering patriotism and philanthropy. He added that the blood donation campaign was an important part of Al Foah’s CSR activities, supported by the company’s employees, and that the company was keen to organise it every year.

The campaign was very well received by Al Foah Company employees, who queued up to have their blood tested before making the donation, showing their interest in taking part in serving the community, stated H.E. Mohammed Ghanim Al Qesaili Al Mansouri, Deputy CEO of Al Foah Company.
