Our Organic Dates Farm in Al Ain is the largest organic farm in the world, the product of a long journey and hard toil. Our expansive farm has an area of 634.6 hectares and has over 63,000 date palms flourishing thanks to organic cultivation practices. It is certified by both ECOCERT-a French organic certification organization that conducts inspections in over 80 countries-and Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology (ESMA), an Abu Dhabi-based food certification authority that issues certifications based on inspection and reviews carried out by specialized agencies. Such certifications highlight the great work produced by our farm and the high quality of our dates.

Through Senaat, Al Foah is part of ADQ, one of the region’s largest holding companies with a diverse portfolio of major enterprises spanning key sectors of Abu Dhabi’s non-oil economy.
As of 6 January 2021, Senaat and Agthia Group have legally completed the transaction to transfer Senaat’s ownership of Al Foah to Agthia. As a result, Al Foah is now part of Agthia Group, combining Al Foah’s market-leading position in dates with Agthia’s expertise in consumer food and drink brands, Agthia is now one of the top 10 F& B companies in the region with strong ambitions for future growth and a portfolio of popular brands like Al Ain Water and Grand Mills.
Al Foah is headquartered in Al Ain, was established in 2005 by the Abu Dhabi government to take responsibility for the number of Dates production and process assets, including two Dates processing factories in Al Saad and Al Marfa and number of Dates receiving centres across the UAE. The two factories have a combined annual production capacity of 113,000 Metric Tons and a storage capacity of 70,000 Metric Tons.
Al Foah’s products portfolio consists of a wide range of high-quality whole Dates (UAE-grown), value-added Dates (stuffed and chocolate-coated) and Dates based products (Date syrup, Date paste, Date halwa).
Al Foah exports 90% of its dates to 45 countries across the world. Bringing the best of dates under renowned brands such as Zadina, Date Crown, Saad and Al Dhafra.

Al Foah has 8 world-class receiving centers across that UAE: Al Foah Center, Al Saad Center, Abu Kariyah Center, Ghumadh Center, Saih Al Khair Center, Al Al Marfa Center, Ghiyathy Center, and Al Dhaid Center. The employees who work in these centers embody professionalism and hard work because they believe that these are the keys to success and customer satisfaction. Our centers function 16 hours a day, 6 days a week, and include 85 docking stations where we handle up to 60,000 truckloads of deliveries and conduct evaluation and pricing of more than 113,000 tons of dates per season.
DATES FACTORIES
Our Emirates Dates Factory in Al Saad was established in 1998 for date’s production, while Al Marfa Dates Factory was established in 1994 for the same purpose. The two factories have a combined production capacity of 160,000 tonnes per year and a storage capacity of 70,000 Tons. The dates are processed in accordance with the international standards and quality systems of ISO and HACCP. Our factory includes members certified by the Institute of Food Technology (USA). In addition, our factories in 2018 has obtained the British Retail Consortium BRC certification. These factories are the cornerstone of our success and progress, we do our best to produce high quality premium dates. Al Foah combines quality and quantity by providing a variety of mouthwatering delicious dates.
